Hi Carrie and Cheryl,
I just had to drop this line to you both to tell you how very much in love we are with our new little Pipsqueak!
He is such a charmer, and my husband is just gaga over him and always pointing out to me the cute things he does. His temperament is beyond perfection and his demeanor so sweet and calm that he will be a natural for pet therapy. In fact, he and his big brother Biscuit last Wednesday did a one and one-half hour presentation with me to an Altzheimer's group and their caretakers here in Houston on the subject of AAT (Animal Assisted Therapy). After our presentation, during which he and his brother sat in their little blue t-shirts on my lap as quiet as little mice, they were both handed around to the entire audience, and brought lots of smiles and hugs out of those senior citizens! One man was so relaxed with Pippy on his lap that Pip slid right down his extended legs onto the floor on his back in a happy curled position, which brought about lots of laughter. Of course, he was not harmed, but that's an indication of how limber and flexible that little guy is!
Pipsqueak, aka Pippy le Pew, is a joy around the house and plays wonderfully with his new siblings. He is now in obedience training and learning the clicker and some commands, and I don't imagine it will be very long before he tests and passes his CGC requirements. At six months after that testing he can then become a full-fledged therapy dog with one of my two therapy groups, the other group requiring a minimum age of one year. But this will be such good practice for him in the meantime!
He is today graduating from his kennel, which usually is his confinement at night and during the daytime hours if I am away. Last night he slept with me like a little gentleman, such a cuddler. And today he had the family room free to himself and his other siblings, and when we came home from our Memorial Day repast I at first thought he had gone scot-free. However, out of the corner of my eye I spotted a small offering on the fireplace hearth, so figured he was trying to keep it neat, anyway. Such a corker.
Please look to me for any praises and thank-you's you'd like to post on your website as we are indeed very happy customers! Pipsqueak sends licks and kisses and thanks you for finding him a happy new home where he is in the spotlight at all times!
Fondly, |

HI,
I just wanted to give you an update on Ameba. He is doing very well !! He is just the best puppy. He has only had 2 accidents in the house since he arrived. He has 2 best friends, my youngest cat Vista plays with him for hours. Don't worry all my cats have all 4 paws declawed. He chases Vista everywhere. His other buddy is my best friends new puppy, Eve. She got Eve the day after Ameba arrived. Eve is a puggle. They were instant friends.
He also plays fetch like a champion. I rolled one of the cat toys across the room for the cats and he ran after it, picked it up, and brought it back to me. We play that game allot. He is so smart, not that I'm the proud Mom or anything. LOL
He is up to 1 pound 11.5 ounces!
Hope all is well with you and your family. I will keep in touch as he grows up.
